Which Lifestyle in Dallas is for You?

So when we're talking about your lifestyle and what it is you want when living here in the Dallas Fort Worth area, There are a lot of things to choose from.

So people, really do think that you're gonna move to Texas and need to buy a truck, buy a pair of cowboy boots, and a hat. While I'd probably recommend for sure, getting yourself a pair of cowboy boots, because there are some pretty nice ones out there. There just really are so many different lifestyles here in Dallas and we have said before when you live a little bit more on the Fort Worth side, that's where you're probably going to see a little bit more of the boots and the hats and a lot more trucks, doesn't matter. You're gonna see a whole lot of trucks driving around here in Dallas, which was just funny for us realizing that it's not like we have the mountains and the big, huge, Things that you need to haul around, but obviously, there's still some ranches.

There's still some horse property. People may not have a horse property, but they have horses. So they need to be able to haul this stuff all around. So you do see a whole lot of trucks here in Texas,

Moving to Dallas with a Family

First up, let's talk about People moving here with their families, people want space, and they want good school districts. They don't necessarily want to be on top of their neighbors. While there are tons of options here, it just really depends on what your price point is and exactly what it is you're looking for. Are you going to have your kids into sports? Are you just wanting a great community to get involved and get to know your neighbors a little bit more? Some of the top neighborhoods and areas to live for families around here if you have a lot of money and you wanna be close to downtown. That's when you're going to get right here into the University Park and Highland Park area, it's where a lot of money is. It's like that old money. These homes are amazing. You don't have tons of land or anything, it's just an amazing community where everybody knows everybody from block parties to the neighborhood, get-togethers to community events. They have tons of this down in Highland Park,  it doesn't even matter. How much money do you have? Yes. There are some apartments down there. People want to get their kids into these school districts, but you aren't. You aren't moving down there for tons of land on your property. You're not gonna have these big, huge. Backyards. Most of the time, these homes, if they haven't been completely gutted and remodeled. They might, they just might not have the yard that you're looking for. They might be a little bit more on top of each other because they're very beautiful large homes and they're all right next to each other, but it is a great community to be involved in. And if your price point is pretty high, another area that, we talk about often is over here in like the Southlake area. It's another great community. It's all about the Carroll Dragons. That's their school district over there it's just very family-friendly.

Then you can get even a little bit further out west and we have Keller another great family community that people don't talk about a lot. We get tons of calls all the time from people wanting to move to Plano no, they wanna move to Frisco and even up into up here further north where all this growth is happening up into the Prosper and Celina area, but that's just getting you so far outside of the city, but that is where a whole lot of growth is happening.

Growth is happening all over Dallas. When you see the amount of green space that we have here, it's, Dallas can just keep growing. When you think of, where I wanna live, but also where do I need to commute for work? And what is it that we're looking for? There are so many great neighborhoods around here for families. And like we said before, tons of people. Are moving here because of the school districts that we have in Dallas. That's why you reach out to us because it depends on what it is you're looking for.  If you're moving here for families, with kids, there's every sport known to man that you can be involved in there's communities community events that you can be involved in. And it just really depends on what it is you're looking for and definitely what your price point is. But a lot of people are moving here knowing that it's very family-friendly and that there is a lot more room to spread out here in the Dallas, Texas area. So we love helping families move here and we love helping families, move up to their next home because maybe they have finally had a couple more kids, or their kids are starting school and they're, in everybody's space. We just absolutely love helping families, but not only families, obviously we help everybody.

Single and Moving to Dallas Texas

so the next thing that we wanna talk about is maybe you're moving here and you're single. Maybe it's your first job out of college, or maybe you have just gotten a great job promotion and you want to, and you're moving to Dallas.  Maybe you work downtown and you want somewhere with tons of nightlife, things that are close to where you're living. You maybe want to be able to go out at night and catch up with friends, grab a bite to eat, or meet up for drinks after work,   and you don't really wanna necessarily drive all the way home. You just wanna be able to be, right near your work and be right downtown where all of the action is. And a lot of those areas are right here down. Closer to downtown Dallas. Granted, there are still a few more places that we can show you around. But when you think of, uptown and lower Greenville, there are some great neighborhoods around here. And, if you can walk to Trader Joe's a huge bonus for a lot of people, but you have Old East Dallas, and then you even have Deep Ellum down here too Deep Ellum has tons of restaurants, great street art concerts, and some of these bars. And places have, have music at night during the week and on the weekends. And it's just a great hub of activity. And a lot of people, they just love being down here. They wanna be able to, walk and grab dinner at night, and in the morning they can drive right over to work. So people love moving here into, right here near the downtown Dallas area, especially if they're single because there's so much to do. And say on the weekends where they can just wake up and go grab a coffee or, take a walk and walk their dogs. So many great areas down here in the Dallas area to purchase a home. We just helped a client down here close to over here in White Rock Lake. It was a much older home, but the agent was amazing and told us the entire back story of how they. Purchased the home and remodeled the home and exactly what was going on with it.  We were a backup offer because my clients were a little leery of, giving everything away and their terms. But in the end, they came back and we got the property after all because we had been back up and, oh my gosh, my clients are over the moon just because of the area down here in the neighborhood. So even though it's older, some of these homes are being. Remodeled and just brought back so much character.

Another great area. If you're single, there's a lot of businesses and stuff over here in the Richardson and Addison area, and even up a little bit more north here into Plano, but tons of great things going on here in Addison. Same thing, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and granted, there's a ton of apartment living, but there are just some great areas around here. If you're single and you just, wanna be able to get out of the city, the big city of Dallas obviously, and just, yet still have a lot of fun places to go. So Addison's another great area as well as Richardson, but, Once again, you reach out to us and let us find out what it is you're looking to do another great area for singles that we have noticed we've been a part of, even though we're not single, but it doesn't mean that we haven't gone and met a bunch of friends out here is right up here in the north Plano area, almost, on the border of Frisco because we have the whole legacy west and the shops at legacy over here and this granite park as well.

It just borders the freeway. On the south side,  it's all these restaurants right in here have this great boardwalk with seating and water fountains, big Hilton hotel over here,  it's another great area that, you can go hang out. There's food for everybody. Doesn't matter, you know what everybody likes, but it's just another fun area to go and hang out. And over here in Legacy West, you have the legacy food hall. They have these great concerts with a lot of cover bands that play over here on Friday nights and areas to go shopping dining and things to do because a lot of the single people have a lot more energy.

And so even if they've had, a really busy day at work, they wanna be able to get out and go do a lot of fun things and meet up with friends.  and yet those are a whole bunch of great areas to look into, but also, there are multiple places here all around Dallas. You can get down into Irving and Los Colinas, parts of Arlington, and, even a little bit over into the Grapevine area, tons of places for singles and lots of things to do another great reason to move here to Dallas.

Country Living around Dallas Texas

So number three on our list is, that maybe we should branch out to the country a little bit. So like I said before, there is a lot of green space here on the outskirts of Dallas. Say you want a lot of acreages, you might need to start moving a little bit further. Whether it's east, north, Southwest, or wherever you might want to plan on living a little bit further out if you do want that country living, which people don't realize. There are some great pockets here in the Dallas area that a lot of people don't even know about. Say you do have a horse or you want somewhere to, be able to board your horse, take horseback, ride lessons, multiple places, throughout the metroplex, where you can do that. You can find some of these little pockets that actually have some land and keep horses on it yourself, maybe you don't even necessarily want the horses, but you do want, the property. People don't even necessarily know where it is, but those are yet again, a lot of the reasons why you call us because we can do that research for you. People love living here in the town of Flower Mound.

We mention it all the time. It's a great community, there are these little pockets of places with the land around it. A lot of people don't even know about this little town of Double Oak, we'll just give you a couple of examples, this little town of Double Oak. All properties. There have to be at least one or two acres, the same kind of over here in Copper Canyon. If you wanna see horses and you wanna see people with cows, these tiny little tucked-in ranches, Copper Canyon, and same with Bartonville, but that's just an example of some of the areas here around Dallas, where you can get that country feel, you can also get it out here on. The east side, but there are some great areas down south.

So reach out to us,  if you're looking for land here in the Dallas area because we can be kind. Hone in on what exactly it is you're looking for because places like we had said, Double Oak and Copper Canyon, they're not too far outside of the city. They're really easy to get to the airport. If you wanna get outta town quickly, or you have to travel for work and you still want land. Think about the fact that. You can have options here when moving to Dallas it depends on your price point. It depends on exactly what it is you're looking for, but it is nice that Dallas is so spread out. We don't have those mountains here. Like you do further out west and you can just continue to grow. So you have the option of being able to purchase land prob maybe a little bit easier than, a lot of the other places around the country.

Lake Life Around Dallas Texas

Number four that we like to talk about is lake life. People are like lake life, but when you zoom out and see Fort Worth and Dallas, you see how many lakes we have. We have a lot. When we first moved here, we'd go out here with my aunt and uncle over here to Grapevine Lake. And I used to think it was a huge lake, especially coming from Arizona where you had to travel like an hour and, to get up into the lake. And they were really small and the boats seemed, you had to go up the canyon. Because that's what the lakes were. And then we moved here and this was so wide open and then we started going out over to Lewisville Lake. And when you see how huge it is, these little fingers that go all the way up and around through all over the place from Little Elm, all the way up here into crossroads, but there's a lot of great areas to live here on Lewisville Lake as well. Not only that, but a lot of people can have these gorgeous homes with these beautiful views. It's not like you can't live bordering the lake.

But if you live here in the Flower Mound, Highland Village area, you could be down on the lake in 10 minutes and that's with traffic. The same thing goes over here on the east side, Levon Lake, Ray Hubbard. Just tons of options for living out on the lake or living super, super close to the lake. And that's living right here in this big, huge metroplex of the Dallas Fort Worth area. And those are just a few of the examples that, we could talk about when you zoom out and you do see all these lakes. If you want to land and lake living, you move up here north of Aubrey up in the valley view area, north of Denton. Another great opportunity. There is something here for everybody, so many different things that you can enjoy.

Downtown Living in Dallas Texas

And last but not least, because we do feel like it's a given is the city life. How far into the city do you need to be? And when we're talking city, do you have to be right in the city of Dallas? Because frankly if you're right downtown, some of these little areas. It May not be for you because it's like the concrete jungle and you just, don't see some of these homes around here that you love, but we're talking cities, when you're thinking of this, the Plano area, when you're thinking of, Frisco and Allen, and even over into Southlake and, Arlington or Fort Worth granted, we don't get out.

We don't talk about being out in the Fort Worth area quite a bit, but there are some great areas over there as well. When you get up here into Argyle it's a little bit more of the country feel, but Denton's a big city here in Dallas. Granted it's on the north side, but there are some great communities, not too far out of the downtown Denton area. UNT the University of North Texas is up there, Texas Women's University.  A little bit more of the downtown city feel, but Southlake, is a big bustling city and people think, you know what? That's not too far outside of the city. Yes. You can be in the city with these big, huge high rises and when you come over here into the Richardson area, tons of businesses over in here, it's, it's like living in the city because you can, it doesn't matter where you go. There are some great opportunities for growth business-wise. A lot of the businesses are coming in here to the Richardson area up over here, along the 75 in the Plano area, and even up into the Frisco area. So when we're talking cities, we're talking about, what's going on there, where the businesses going, what's, is it busy? How many families are moving there and what are the neighborhoods like? We have been in and out of probably almost all of them. And that's why you call. Because we love helping people move here to Dallas.

We love helping people find that perfect fit for their families. And if you don't call us so that we can show you around some of these neighborhoods in, for example, the Plano area.
